BBFC Age certificate
The age certificate in the UK was labelled 12A, which means that anyone can see the film, but anyone 12 or under has to be accompanied by an adult. This, along with the December release date, means that there will be more people able to watch the film. Children will be off school and many adults off work for the holiday, meaning that the children will be able to see the movie with their parents. This widens the possible audience greatly.

Global Release
The movie was released globally at around the same time. This means that for the majority, there is no waiting for a movie to be released in their country while it is being shown in other countries. This is beneficial to the success of the movie as this means that less people are likely to pirate the movie instead of waiting for it to be released. It also means that the movie makes much more money in a shorter space of time, which puts the movie higher on the box office chart.
